Our Guidelines |
|
PLEASE
READ THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES BEFORE JOINING MASSTRT Verbal protests,
signs and letters will not contain profanity or threats of any kind. We
want to make the impression that we are what we are - respectful, decent
folks. While our
membership will no doubt be made up of people with differing lifestyles
and manners of dress, we ask that you leave the camo at home. You've heard
the expression: 'Dress for Success'? Well that's going to mean not wearing
anything that gives the media a chance to stereotype us. If they get the
chance, they'll take it. This does not mean that we should not be creative
in our attire. If you have a full Minuteman outfit... wear it! When confronted by
an angry opposition, do not let yourself get drawn into a shouting match.
The media will paint us as screaming lunatics if they get the chance. Physical
confrontation is obviously unacceptable. Again, MASSTRT would be made out
as the bad guy by the media. Don't give them the opportunity. Remain polite and
courteous. We don't want a reputation as a bunch of rude loud-mouths. Our initial goal is
to establish a presence and a consistent message: RESTORE THE BILL OF
RIGHTS. |
